Building on the strong demand for our recent booked-out in-person event, Artificial Intelligence: Building Literacy, this 90-minute bitesize webinar provides a focused and accessible overview of the key AI themes most relevant to the Irish public service.

The session will be led by Diarmuid Ryan, Digital and Innovation Specialist at the IPA, the session will:

• introduce what AI is and how it is being used in practice,
• explore the opportunities it presents for public service delivery, and
• highlight the core governance, ethical and risk considerations that leaders and public bodies need to understand.

Designed for Senior Leaders, Board and Committee members, and those with responsibility for governance or oversight of AI projects, the webinar supports participants to build practical AI literacy without requiring technical expertise.
