Colette Drinan
Colette has been Secretary and Director of Audit since 2019. As well as being the Accounting Officer for the Office, she directs the programme of audit for central government appropriation accounts. She has experience of directing the performance audit programme, as well as audits of State bodies.
Colette is a member of the Evaluation and Audit Advisory Committee of the International Civil Aviation Organisation. She was previously chair of the Supervisory Committee of OLAF, the EU anti-fraud agency as well as an observer on INTOSAI’s Professional Standards Steering Committee.
She joined the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General in 2013 from the Central Bank of Ireland, where, over a 12-year period, she held a number of roles in regulatory supervision, including departmental management. She trained as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
