This event is now full.
Our upcoming AI Literacy session will equip participants with a clear and practical understanding of how artificial intelligence, when applied responsibly, can enhance the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of public service delivery.
Through a focus on best practices, emerging AI guidelines, and key ethical considerations, the session will explore how AI can be used to generate more impactful, transparent, and trustworthy outcomes across public service organisations, while also highlighting the risks and pitfalls to be aware of.
This session is designed for public service leaders and professionals who hold responsibility for the oversight and governance of AI systems, offering essential literacy for those who guide AI decision making without needing deep technical expertise. This may include senior leaders, board and committee members and those directly charged with oversight and governance of AI projects.
The session will be led by Diarmuid Ryan, Digital and Innovation Specialist at the IPA.
To close, a fireside chat will bring together a panel of practitioners from across the public service to share their insights and lessons learned from leading AI-driven innovation initiatives.
