Our first Board Secretaries' Network event of 2022, in association with the Chartered Governance Institute (Ireland), will provide a peer-to-peer forum for issues relevant to the specialist role.

Matters for discussion and reflection will include:

• Engaging the Board in strategic discussions and decision-making
• Board work programmes
• Hybrid meetings / returning to the Board room
• Induction of new Board members
• Diversity considerations
• Sustainability reporting
