Conferences, Briefings and Webinars

Board and Committee Chairpersons and members, Senior Executives and staff of Forum members are invited to a series of highly relevant briefing events, conferences, webinars and roundtable discussions. The events feature expert speakers addressing key themes of interest, with opportunities for member networking and discussion. These themes include board effectiveness, sustainability, cyber and AI issues, governance and culture, risk appetite, internal controls and assurance, and the roles and responsibilities of Board members. The Forum also includes a Chairpersons' Network and a Board Secretaries' Network.

Peer Network

The Forum comprises a significant number of member organisations, including state bodies and agencies, government departments, higher education institutions, local authorities and not-for-profit organisations. Forum events thus provide the basis for valuable peer networking for Chairpersons, Board members and Senior Executives.

Governance Advice, Training and Advisory Services

Members have access to the IPA Governance Team for advice and guidance, and can avail of governance training and advisory services at a discounted rate.
